Expanded Liquidity Incentive Program with Four New Pools

We are pleased to announce the next phase in our Liquidity Incentive Program, a strategic initiative designed to boost liquidity and trading efficiency on Radix in advance of Project Ignition.

Commencing on Friday, March 1st, 2024, we introduce four additional reward pools to our program, significantly enhancing opportunities for our liquidity providers to earn rewards while contributing to the Radix DeFi ecosystem’s growth.

New Pools and Rewards

In addition to the ongoing CAVIAR/XRD pool, the program will now include the following new pools, each with a substantial weekly airdrop reward of 500,000 CAVIAR:

xWBTC/XRD and xETH/XRD: Catering to existing cryptocurrency enthusiasts, these pools are set to boost the liquidity of Instabridge wrapped Bitcoin and Ethereum on Radix.
XRD/xUSDC + XRD/xUSDT: Aimed at stablecoin holders, this combined reward pool supports both xUSDC and xUSDT, offering a robust option for those looking to contribute to stablecoin liquidity.

Each pool has been designed with specific parameters to maximise efficiency and reward contributions that directly enhance trading activity on the platform.

Program Highlights

Start Date: March 1st, 2024
Airdrop Reward: 500,000 CAVIAR weekly for each pool
Focus: Active liquidity to ensure capital efficiency and trading effectiveness
Duration: Anticipated to run for at least 6 months, subject to extension or modification.
Project Ignition: These 4 new pools will also be used for the RDX Works $10M+ Liquidity Incentive Program for Wrapped Assets on Radix

Active Liquidity : A Core Principle

Focus on Useful Liquidity: We value liquidity that’s close to market prices. It contributes more to trades, unlike large amounts placed far from current prices.
Rewarding Risk and Relevance: Our rewards are for liquidity that’s actively involved in trading, acknowledging the risks LPs take, especially with impermanent loss.
